There was a time when Newnan, Georgia was known as a “hospital city.” That was over 150 years ago. Today’s options for healthcare in Coweta County are even better. While it is our sincere hope that our residents will make scant use of these facilities, it is always reassuring that help is only minutes away and world-class health care is nearby, should it ever be needed.
The options for healthcare in Coweta County are even expanding. Two, new major facilities have opened in the past few years to provide more specialized healthcare services and increase the overall number of available hospital beds.
Fire & Rescue Services
Perhaps the most important part of obtaining healthcare in Coweta County is being near emergency services. Despite our community being located in a semi-rural location, we are less than 5 miles from a Coweta County fire station.
